Dynasty Taxi Squads
In Dynasty X, we have 28 roster spots, but 3 of those spots are special—they're for the Taxi Squad. So, what is a Taxi Squad?

Think of it like a waiting area for players who are still developing. You can place players with less than 4 years of NFL experience on your Taxi Squad. These are young players you believe might become stars in the future but aren't quite ready to start on your main team yet.

Once a player is on your Taxi Squad, they can stay there until you decide they’re ready to play or until they no longer qualify based on experience. However, keep in mind that once you activate a player from your Taxi Squad they stay on your active roster. So make sure you're confident about when to promote a player, as you won’t be able to stash them back on the Taxi Squad once they're activated!

Draft Details and League Format
Greetings!
As we gear up for our inaugural season, here’s everything you need to know about our league's startup draft, future drafts, playoff format, and trading rules.

1. Startup Draft Details
The Dynasty X startup draft will follow a snake draft format with a twist: a 3rd Round Reversal. Here's how it works:
In a standard snake draft, the draft order reverses at the end of every round (e.g., the team that picks last in round 1 picks first in round 2).
With a 3rd round reversal, the order reverses again after round 2, but in round 3, the order flips once more, so the team with the last pick in round 1 also gets the first pick in round 3. This levels the playing field for teams picking later in the first round.
Each team will have 90 seconds to make their selection during the draft. Stay sharp and ready to make quick decisions!
All future drafts will shift to a linear format, with draft order determined by the previous season's record—just like the NFL.

2. Consolation Playoffs & Rookie Draft Picks
We’re implementing a system to prevent tanking and make every game count. The Consolation Playoffs will determine the order for the following season’s rookie draft. Here’s how it works:
The winner of the consolation playoffs earns the #1 overall pick in the rookie draft.
The runner-up gets the #2 pick, and so on.
For the championship bracket, the league champion will receive the 10th pick, and the runner-up will get the 9th pick, with the rest of the picks assigned based on final standings.

3. Trading Draft Picks
Just like in the NFL, draft picks can be traded between teams. So, feel free to wheel and deal to build the dynasty of your dreams!

4. Playoff Structure
The top 5 teams in Dynasty X will make the Championship Playoffs. The bottom 5 will enter the Consolation Playoffs, battling it out for draft pick supremacy.

5. Commissioner Announcements & Notifications
Due to the detailed nature of our league rules and updates, all Commissioner Announcements will be posted here on the Dynasty X League Announcement page. Notifications will be sent out via the Sleeper.com chat room whenever new information is posted, so stay alert for updates.

6. SuperFlex League Format
Dynasty X is a SuperFlex League, meaning you can start two QBs in your lineup! One flex spot allows you to start a QB/WR/RB/TE, and the other allows for WR/RB/TE. Build your team wisely and take advantage of this powerful format to dominate the league.

7. Dynasty X Championship Belt
In true dynasty fashion, we're adding a bit of flair to the competition. Each manager will contribute a $10 entry fee, this season and next season which will go towards purchasing the league's official championship belt. This belt isn’t just a trophy—it’s a symbol of dominance that will be passed down from champion to champion each season. If you rise to the top and claim the title, you’ll also earn the right to proudly hold (and display) the belt until the next season's winner is crowned.

1. Startup Draft Details
