- League Type: Redraft league with no Keepers.
- Scoring: PPR
- Regular Season: Weeks 1 through 14 Week.
- Draft: Slow Draft begins August 1, 2024 via the Sleeper.com platform.
- Playoff Format: 3 Divisions winners and 4 Wildcard teams. Playoffs scheduled to take place during Weeks 15, 16 and 17. The team with the highest winning percentage in each division will be deemed the division champion and advance to the Playoffs. Teams with identical records will have ties broken using the following methods in the order listed: (1) Head-to Head Record, (2) Total Points Scored, (3) Total Points Scored Against. The teams with the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th best records will be deemed Wildcard teams.
- Starters: The starting lineup must consist of 9 players: 1 Quarterback, 2 Running Backs, 2 Wide Receivers, 1 Tight End, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 Defense/Special Teams.
- Reserve Players / Bench: Teams can only roster 6 reserve / bench players.
- Injured Reserve (IR): Teams can roster no more than 2 players in IR slots.
- Draft Roster Max: 2 Quarterbacks, 4 Running Backs, 6 Wide Receivers, 2 Tight Ends, 2 Kickers, 2 Defenses

- Trades: All teams (with the exception of the teams involved in the trade) will be given 48 hours to vote on accepted trades. If more than half of the league’s teams vote against an accepted trade, the trade will be reversed. If both teams involved in a reversed trade dispute the reversal, the commissioner will review the trade. If, in the commissioner’s opinion, the trade involved collusion and/or if the trade was blatantly in favor of one team, the trade reversal will be upheld.
- Trade Backs: No back trading is allowed. Once a team trades a player away, that team cannot receive the same player back in a later trade. The only way to get that player back is off of the free agent list. This is to avoid collusion.
- Trade Deadline: The trade deadline is November 16, 2024.
- Throwing Games: The act of “throwing games”, which is losing on purpose by submitting a lineup full of players that would not normally be started, will not be tolerated. Commissioner action, such as the possible removal from the league, may be taken.
- Waiver Period: League Waiver Period is 2 days. This will freeze dropped players for 2 full days to allow all interested teams the opportunity to submit a waiver claim.
- Waiver Type: Inverse Order of Standings. Gives priority to teams lowest in the overall league standings each week and moves teams to the lowest waiver priority after each successful claim.
- Cliff Wells Manager of the Year Award: Awarded to the Manager of the Year factoring in the following awards in conjunction with season success:

Undroppable List: Gridiron Gold uses the Yahoo.com Can't Cut List. The Can’t Cut List is designed to keep teams from dumping elite players throughout the season to ensure that top NFL players are rostered in all leagues. Using a Can't Cut List helps to ensure fair play amongst team managers. The benefits of the Undroppable List are listed below:
- Protects star players: The Undroppable List includes elite and highly valued players who are crucial to fantasy teams. By preventing these players from being dropped, the undroppable list ensures that managers cannot intentionally or accidentally remove star players from their rosters, which would undermine the competitive balance of the league.
- Prevents collusion and manipulation: The Undroppable List helps prevent certain players from being dropped as part of an unfair strategy. This safeguard helps maintain a level playing field and ensures that the game remains fair and competitive.
- Enhances league dynamics: By using the Undroppable List, strategic decision-making and more thoughtful roster management is encouraged. Managers need to carefully plan their team composition and make roster moves within the constraints of the Undroppable List, which adds another layer of complexity to the game.
- Reduces roster churning: Roster churning refers to the frequent dropping and adding of players to gain a short-term advantage. The Undroppable List discourages excessive roster churning by preventing managers from easily dropping and picking up players, leading to more balanced and thoughtful roster decisions.
- Emphasizes long-term player value: The Undroppable List often includes players who are highly valued in the long term, such as rookies with high potential or injured players expected to return later in the season. This feature encourages managers to consider player value beyond immediate performance, fostering a more strategic and forward-thinking approach to team management.
